We are delighted to tell you that we are among more than 2,700 recipients to benefit from the latest round of awards from the government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund.
As well as supporting our summer performance later this year, the funds of £25,000 will mean RISE will be in a much stronger position as we come out of the lockdowns and start to navigate a post-pandemic world. We will also be in a position to employ a number of freelance artists, refresh our education offer and continue our organisational development work, with the long-term aim of securing a permanent space for RISE Youth Dance.
We have been so impressed by the resilience of our young people over the last year, and we’re really looking forward to dancing together again, performing again and for the future of RISE.
